Opel has plans of coming up with its new EV that will go on sale early 2021. The EV model will have a 136-hp electric motor and a 50-kWh battery pack with enough range that will go for close to 200 miles (322 kilometres) between charges to mirror the e-2008.
The Opel company said, the all-electric Mokka will have the batteries installed deep in the vehicle floor, which lowers the centre of gravity and at the same time increases excellent prerequisites for dynamic driving (which is about 30%)
Design and tech:- The electric version of the Mokka will be Vauxhall's equivalent to the DS 3 Crossback E-Tense and Peugeot e-2008 SUVs and the production version's styling is said to take inspiration from the 2018 Vauxhall GT X Experimental concept. We can therefore say the electric Mokka will share their 134 bhp electric motor and 50 kWh battery, for a driving range of about 200 miles on a full charge and a 0-62 mph time of 8.7 seconds.
Interior:- It's however expected to be large as that of the Corsa but with more space cabin The interior is yet to be previewed, Mokka cabin is a digital with modern look.
Security features:- This incorporates lane keep assist, adaptive cruise control with stop and go function, autonomous emergency braking with day and night pedestrian detection, traffic sign recognition, Park Assist and a driver warning alert if the system finds the driver needs a rest.
Car rivals:- Electric Mokka will rival the likes of the Hyundai Kona Electric, Kia e-Niro and MG ZS EV, as well as its sister models from DS and Peugeot.
