Have you ever imagined a sport vehicle that has three wheels? well Girfalco a Canadian company has it for you. Azkarra is a three-wheel all-electric sports vehicle accommodating two passengers side by side.

The car is designed for both road and track use and in its most potent form hits 60 mph from rest in just 2.5 seconds. It is powered by a three-wheel-drive system consisting of an electric motor powering each wheel. The motors enable full torque vectoring and a combined continuous output of 217 horsepower (301 hp peak). In addition to the 2.5-second 0–60 time, the Azkarra S also easily hits a governed top speed of 150 mph.

There will apparently be two offerings, the Azkarra and the Azkarra S. The Azkarra S will possess 162 kW of continuous power, and 225 kW of peak power. The base Azkarra will feature 54 kW of continuous power, and 75 kW of peak power.

The two offerings, the Azkarra S will do 0 to ~62 mph (0 to 100 km/h) in the 2.5 seconds, and the Azkarra will in 4.5 seconds; the Azkarra S will possess a top speed of 149 mph (240 km/h), the base Azkarra a top speed of 124 mph (200 km/h); and both will apparently possess a minimum range of 124 miles (200 kilometers).

The standard Azkarra has a single motor but it’s still no slouch. It has a continuous output of 72 hp (100 hp peak) and will accelerate to 60 mph in 4.5 seconds. And its top speed is 124 mph. Both models feature a direct-drive connection between the motor(s) and wheels.

Vehicle weights vary as well, with the Azkarra possessing an estimated weight of 1,058 lbs (480 kilograms) and Azkarra S 1,124 lbs (510 kilograms). However, the vehicles will feature torque vectoring; the ability to recharge to around 80% in a half hour or so (Level 3 charger); and optimized suspension.
